A man who had been arguing at a gas station stepped into traffic and was killed by a drunk driver Sunday night, police said.
Milton George Monroe, 66, was charged with intoxication manslaughter in the incident.
Police say the victim, whose name was not released “caused a disturbance” at a gas station in the 13300 block of Cullen about 9:20 p.m. Sunday. He was asked to leave and did, then headed back to yell some more.
“As the male walked off the parking lot and into a southbound lane of
Cullen, he was struck and killed by a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck,” police said.
The driver of the truck, Monroe, pulled over. Officers determined he was drunk and arrested him.
