| Shot near his truck |
A man was shot in the head and chest and found dead next to his truck south of downtown Wednesday evening.
Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was discovered at 8:10 p.m. after residents in the 1600 block of Rosewood heard a gunshot.
The body was discovered slumped next to a truck, and the man — who used to live on that block — was taken to the hospital, where he died.
