Houston police are investigating the stabbing death of a man that occurred Friday afternoon.

The identity of the victim, who was found face down at a residence at 10751 Corona Lane about 4:30 p.m. on July 27, is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

HPD Homicide Divison Officers J. Dominguez and I. Ulloa reported:

Officers responded to a welfare check call at the above address and entered the residence. The victim was found face down, near the front door of the residence. He appeared to have suffered a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
