A handful of members of the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church came to Houston on Friday, September 16 to share their message of hate towards gays, lesbians, transgender people and other groups. After a stop at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Richmond, near the Montrose Center, the group picketed at the University of Houston campus.
