And here’s how you can get said friend on the cheap: go to Citizens for Animal Protection July 1-7, and adopt a dog or cat for a patriotic $17.76. Huzzah!
The special price includes vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/feline leukemia testing, microchip, I.D. tag, obedience training coupon and a free vet health exam.
