Why Texas Should Split Into Five States: The Chart

Rick Perry, forget all this crap about Texas seceding from the Union. That may play with the nutso base you need during the GOP primary, but the mouth-breathers ain’t gonna carry you to another term, Mr. Thirty-Nine Percent.

You shouldn’t secede – you should split.

Texas has the right, since it came into the US as a sovereign nation, to split itself into five separate states. It says so on the internet, so you know it’s true.

Think of all the power that could be wielded if Texas had ten senators instead of two. Think of how you wouldn’t have to travel so much on reelection campaigns.
