Best Breakfast – Oak Forest: Nana’s

Breakfast tacos are a staple of any Texan’s diet, but not all of us partake in the full Tex-Mex breakfast option. At Nana’s on 34th Street in Oak Forest, you can get plenty of both. The tiny, colorfully painted storefront is filled with classic breakfasts including some incredible and unique tacos, but you’d be remiss if you didn’t dig into some of their hearty breakfast plate options like the Machacado plate with shredded beef, eggs, tomatoes, onions and jalapeños served with potatoes, refried beans and guac. If you are feeling like a taco, however, don’t miss the Chilaquiles taco, just like the beloved casserole with eggs and corn chips, but wrapped in tortilla.
