And yes, you want to get in said line, because pop-up turned brick-and-mortar’s bounty of pan dulce and Mexican and Latin cafe fare is worth every damn second of your time. Show up early to see why chef Stephanie Velasquez was a 2024 James Beard semifinalist and snag dreamy creations — blue corn concha and guava and cheese empanada, brisket chilaquiles with housemade queso fresco and mushroom masa pockets, and the sellout horchata berlinesa, a pillowy, horchata cream-filled brioche donut that you definitely in your life.
