Today John Kiely wrote about his favorite bacon-preparation method, and it turns out y’all have some strong feelings on the subject. Commenter csoakley, for one, makes hers in similar fashion:
I liked to cook it this way in my toaster/convection over (before it died). It certainly cuts down on the splattery mess you end up with when cooking it in a pan. I will cook an entire pound in the oven then keep it in the fridge to be readily available for salads, sandwiches or gluttonous face-stuffing episodes when I go on weekend-long bacon bender.
Party at your house, csoakley?
