The latest project from Treadsack and the sister bar of Down House and D&T Drive Inn is throwing the bash of the summer. Escape the summer heat with Deep Eddy Vodka, frozen daiquiris, kiddie pools, and smooth tunes from your favorite DJs, like DJ Christopher Zane (Chris Cusack, owner of Treadsack), and DJ Fandango Smoothsail (Brad Moore of Big Star Bar and Grand Prize Bar fame). Wear your best retro pool party attire to catch rays and cool off in the kiddie pools out front. The party kicks off at 2 p.m with a special appearance from the lovely Eddy Bettys from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Pi Pizza Truck serving up slices in the parking lot all day.

Discover cheeses from various regions of the world as you learn about different milk types, vegetarian cheese and cheeses for the lactose intolerant. Eight varieties will be offered and instructor, Chef Jโ€™on Strange, will show how to pair each with unusual items. And as with any good cheese class, wines will accompany the tastings. Registration is open for $60 for members and $75 for nonmembers.
