Things got very cheesy at Houston’s first Mac & Cheese Fest on April 15 at Silver Street Studios. The tasting event featured a variety of gourmet takes on the comfort food from more than 40 of the city’s best restaurants, and Houston’s This Is It Soul Food took home the prize. A portion of the proceeds benefited the Washington Avenue Arts District, and leftover macaroni and cheese was donated to Second Servings.
