Nickel City has transformed into an over-the-top gothy Halloween pop-up bar, Black Lagoon, open this Friday through Halloween night. Guests can expect a spine-chilling, immersive experience with creepy and creative libations.
15th Annual Korean Festival at Discovery Green
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Held over two days in Downtown’s Discovery Green, the 15th Annual Korean Festival invites visitors to a Korean cultural and culinary experience, featuring K-Pop headliners, a K-Village with arts and crafts, family-friendly activities from a Giant Chopstickk Challenge to Jegichagi (hacky sack), and festival vendors including Seoulside Wings, Blk Mkt Birria, Seoulside Pocha Bar, Wokker, Oh My Gogi!, Popfancy Pops and more. Entry is free.
National Farmers Day Fall Farmers Market at Market Square Park
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Market Square Park Fall Farmers Market invites folks to a special celebration for National Farmers Day, showcasing local growers through interactive demonstrations, live music and family-friendly activities. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
2nd Annual Oktoberfest at Bayou Heights Bier Garten
Saturday, doors open at 11 a.m.

Partygoers can enjoy Battle of the Festbier Flights and food specials, bring furry friends to watch Weenie Dog Races beginning at noon, and enjoy games and prizes starting at 2 p.m., including a Weenie Tossing Contest, Stein Hoisting Contest and Costume Contests. Goodtime Muffin will perform from 3 to 6 p.m.
Raclette Party on the Patio at Montrose Cheese & Wine

With the return of fall, Raclette Parties are back at Montrose Cheese & Wine. Hit the European-style patio as cheesemonger Shannon McCracken and team scraped hot, melty raclette over plates of potatoes, caramelized onions, cornichons and baguette (charcuterie is an optional add on, too). Seating is first-come, first-served.
