Garnish Design Restaurant Warehouse Sale and Boo’s Burgers Pop Up

Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This weekend, hospitality interior design firm Garnish Design will open its private warehouse for a two-day sale of goods collected over the past 20 years, including furniture, artwork, lighting, antique plate ware, glassware and more alongside treasures from spots like Lee’s Den, Alice Blue and Local Foods. Burgers are available for purchase from Joseph Boudreaux of Boo’s Burgers with beverages from Marfa Spirit Co, mezcal mal bien, Equal Parts Brewing, 8th Wonder Brewery and Cruiser Coffee. Guests must RSVP to receive the event address.

2-Year Anniversary Celebration at Burger Bodega

The hit smash burger joint will celebrate its second anniversary with special edition bites for its beloved customers. The limited celebratory specials include an Old S’Mac Burger with two double patties, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, diced onions and bodega sauce on a seeded challah bun; a Pudgy’s Cake Batter Cookie stuffed with brownie; and an Underground Creamery Brownie and Cake Batter Shake. Specials will be first come, first serve, while supplies last.

Raclette Party on the Patio at Montrose Cheese & Wine

As the weather starts to taste a little more like fall, Houstonians can hit an arès-ski style party on the patio featuring delicious melty raclette cheese scared straight from the wheel and onto a plate of roasted potatoes, sliced baguette, salami, cornichons and fancy mustard. The party goes until 5 p.m. or until the cheese runs out.

High Tea with Khushbu Shah at The Marigold Club

The Marigold Club is hosting a sneak peek of its highly anticipated high-tea service, joined by Khushbu Shah, author and Food & Wine Magazine contributing editor, for an Indian-inspired high-tea event with recipes from her new debut cookbook, Amrikan: 125 Recipes from the Indian American Diaspora. Guests can indulge in lucious tea towers, sparkling wine and other brunch beverages and more. Tickets are $105 and include a signed copy of the cookbook.
