Tomball German Festival Christmas Market

Held in Old Town Tomball near the Historical Train Depot Plaza, this annual Christkindlmarkt features live music and festive performances, Christmas-themed street vendors, German and festival food, floweng beer and wine, a carnival and more. The fun is free for folks of all ages, with free parking and a free shuttle. Hours run Friday 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
KG BBQ Houston Pop-Up at Axelrad Beer Garden

Austin’s KG BBQ, which recently earned a Bib Gourmand recognition from the Michelin Guide, is bringing its Texas barbecue fused with Egyptian and Middle East flavors to Houston, with a special pop-up at Midtown beer garden Axelrad. Show up early to secure the eats, from smoked lamb chops to Egyptian Baladi salad and more.
Raclette Party at Montrose Cheese & Wine
Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m.

Experience the après-ski-style life at Montrose Cheese & Wine as it hosts another Raclette Party on the patio. Enjoy delicious melty cheese on top of a plate of roasted potatoes, sliced baguette, salami, cornichons, and fancy mustard from 1 to 5 p.m. or until the cheese runs out. No advanced reservations are needed.
Lights on White Oak 2024

As the giant block party Lights in the Heights goes down, the bars along White Oak are throwing their own Lights in the Heights bash. Expect live DJ beats, local vendors, festive photo ops, food trucks, holiday cocktails like the The Dirty Santa and Mistletoe Margarita and more. Find the fun at Bobcat Teddy’s, Christian’s Tailgate, EZ’s Liquor Lounge, Little Woodrow’s and Onion Creek well into the night.
Sound & Color Dinner with Chef Dawn Burrell and Vocalist Vanessa Hill
Saturday, 6 p.m.
Invites guests to celebrate the season with a multi-sensory experience, coming a multi-course dinner from chef Dawn Burrell — think milk braised beef cheek in peanut curry broth, fish and rice grits in coconut milk, chocolate velvet mousse with beet red velvet cake and more — alongside live performances of soulful holiday classic cover songs by Vanessa Hill, whose voice has graced stages from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to opening for Erykah Badu. The one-night-only celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. followed by dinner service at 7. Tickets are $190 per person and the location will be revealed upon ticket purchase.
