Mark your calendars, because you donโ€™t want to miss these deliciously fun culinary happenings:

After a hiatus in 2024, the cult favorite Malaysian Curry Crawfish is back at Phat Eatery, starting Friday, February 28 and available at the Katy location, 23119 Colonial, on weekends along with Malaysian curry crab legs. The mudbugs are $10/pound (minimum purchase of two pounds) and come with boiled corn and potatoes. Snow crab legs, tossed in the same fragrant sauce, are also on offer at $23/cluster.

Tiffโ€™s Treats has teamed up with Houstonโ€™s Cloud 10 Creamery to create a limited-time scoop shop, available at the shops in Spring, 1660 Louetta, and Pearland, 11200 Broadway. Four exclusive flavors โ€” Brown Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream with Fudge Sauce, Fudge Brownie Ice Cream with Sea Salt Caramel, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Strawberry Sorbet โ€” can be scooped for customers to enjoy in-store (with toppings available) or in a pint to take home.

Hope Farms, 10401 Scott, will kick off its VegOut! celebration, featuring hands-on cooking experiences featuring fresh, farm-grown ingredients as part of its Chefs in the Field series, where top chefs share their best tips for creating tasty, plant-based meals. On Saturday, March 1, Chef Kerby Martin of Vibrant will host an interactive cooking class for adults at 11 a.m. and kids at 12:30 p.m. Registration is $5. Guests can also enjoyย local vendors, cooking demonstrations, yoga, childrenโ€™s activities, farm walks, and moreโ€”all free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Little Rey, 2345 Mid Lane, is launching a new monthly guest chef taco collab series, with a special taco created by a rotating local chef featured and 100 percent of its proceeds going to Southern Smoke Foundation to benefit food and beverage workers in need. The series kicks off in March, with The lineup includes TRUTH BBQโ€™s Leonard Botello IV crafting a smoked beef cheek with a Pasilla Oaxaca sauce.

Hungryโ€™s Upstairs, 2356 Rice, will host a Boots and Brunch on Saturday, March 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $30 and include a complimentary mimosa, DJ, access to a rodeo-themed brunch buffet and more, with $5 for every ticket sold going to support the mission of Sky High for Kids.

Onย Thursday, March 13, Bludorn, 807 Taft, continues its Blu Bayou dining series with Michelin-starred chef and cookbook author, Rogelio Garcia of Auro (CA). Together with chef Aaron Bludorn, the duo will put on a one-night-only collaborative dining experience. Reservations are $115 per guest plus tax and service fee for the four-course meal.
