Isole e Olena Wine Dinner at Osteria di Mercato 

Osteria di Mercato, 3642 University Blvd, will host a multi-course wine dinner at 6 p.m., featuring awines from Tuscany’s Isole e Olena estate, including Collezione Privata Chardonnay and Syrah, Cepparello and Vin Santo. Menu highlights include salmon crudo with peach and lemongrass, wild mushroom and summer truffle risotto, braised beef cavatelli and grilled lamb saddle with salt-crusted carrots. Seats are $325 per person.

Soledad & Socorro: An Agave Affair at Bar Moon 

Bar Moon, 1800 Post Oak, will host an evening dedicated to Socorro tequila, beginning with a tequila tasting at 7 p.m. followed by live jazz from 7 to 10 p.m. Specialty cocktails and flights, including the Tidal Rescue, SOS & Amparo Añejo, are $14 each, while the Soledad flight featuring Blanco, Dos Barricas and 8-Year expressions is $39.

Pork Chop Day at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille celebrates National Pork Chop Day with a four-course, dine-in menu for $44, available from 4 p.m. to close. Guests can enjoy Pork Chop “Bites,” White Bean Pork Chili, a lunch-cut Perry’s Famous Pork Chop and Pork Mac & Cheese. A $99 takeout bundle with two pork chops, Pork Chop “Bites” and Texas Sausage is also available through August 31.

Lyric Market, 411 Smith, hosts a free ¡Adiós Summer Fiesta!, from 2 to 6 p.m. with complimentary Hornitos tequila tastings, $8 margaritas, Palomas and Ranch Waters, $6 Mexican Candy Shots and $5 Hornitos shots. Feast of Saint Arnold

Saint Arnold Brewing Company, 2000 Lyons, hosts its 16th annual Feast of Saint Arnold, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and dinner starting at 5:45 p.m. The $150 ticket includes a family-style, multi-course dinner and beer, with this year’s menu tracing Houston’s culinary history through dishes including chili-braised short ribs, smoked duck breast, smoked bone-in pork loin and flounder pinwheel. Proceeds benefit Texas Children’s Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center.

Houston Restaurant Weeks

It’s back, y’all. Citywide dining event Houston Restaurant Weeks runs now through Labor Day, September 7 with prix fixe menus benefiting the Houston Food Bank. This year’s lineup features brunch and lunch options starting at $25 and dinner menus ranging from $39 to $59 at restaurants across the city. Since launching in 2003, HRW has raised $18.8 million for the food bank, providing the equivalent of 56.4 million meals for Houstonians facing food insecurity.

National Delicatessen Month at Kenny & Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen 

Kenny & Ziggy’s, 1743 Post Oak, celebrates the 11th annual National Delicatessen Month in Aguust with a three-course prix fixe menu benefiting Holocaust Museum Houston.
