Sips & Scoops at The Finn
The Finn, 712 Main, hosts Sips & Scoops! Beer & Ice Cream Pairing from 6 to 8 p.m., a classic ice cream social with a guided tasting on the rooftop terrace. Guests will sample six ice cream flavors paired with six Saint Arnold Brewing Company beers, designed to surprise and expand your palate. Blue Plate Mayonnaise continues Bayou City Po-Boys on Parade – a citywide celebration of chefy spins on classic po’boys – with stops at Killen’s in the Heights, (Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.); and BB’s White Oak (Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m.).
Vacation by the Glass & Co. at Heights & Co.
On select nights, Heights & Co., 1343 Yale, will host its popular Vacation by the Glass & Co. Series in collaboration with EveryWine, a wine club and tasting room in the Heights. Each immersive event celebrates vacation destinations such as France, Spain and Italy, pairing expertly selected wines with iconic films for date nights, girls’ nights or casual gatherings under the pergola. Reservations can be made on Resy, with upcoming dates including March 25–26, April 8–9, April 22–23, May 6–7 and May 20–21.

Late Augustine Collaboration Dinner at Late August
Two of Houston’s standout chefs join forces for a one-night, five-course Creole-Latin dinner at Late August, 4201 Main. Chef Sergio Hidalgo (Late August) teams up with chef Dominick Lee (Augustine) for a seasonal, farm-driven menu featuring dishes like delta tamale, duck carnitas jambalaya and butter-basted Gulf fish, with optional wine or cocktail pairings available. Tickets are $125 per person with $45 add-on pairings, and reservations begin at 5:30 p.m.
Southern Smoke Foundation Wine Dinners
Musaafer, 5115 Westheimer, will host a Southern Smoke Foundation Wine Dinner, with an intimate evening of cellar selections from Alexana and Revana Vineyards, poured alongside a thoughtfully paired Indian tasting menu from chef Mayank Istwal. Guests will hear from Dr. Revana while enjoying a guided culinary journey designed to complement each wine. Seats are $195 per person.
The Marigold Club, 2531 Kuester, hosts a Hirsch Vineyards wine dinner featuring an in-person tasting led by winemaker Jasmine Hirsch. The evening spotlights hard-to-find Sonoma Coast pours, paired with dishes like Ocean Trout Crudo and Tortellini with pork ragout and braised octopus. Tickets are $495 per person, benefiting the Southern Smoke Foundation. For those not joining for dinner, Hirsch wines will also be available by the glass from 5 to 10 p.m.

MARCH, 1624 Westheimer, hosts the first-ever Salty Magazine collaboration in Texas: a seven-course dinner ($295; optional wine pairings $175) featuring Parisian guest chefs Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero of one Michelin-starred Il Carpaccio at Le Royal Monceau. Book seats via OpenTable.

Southern Smoke Foundation’s sellout wine event Southern Smoke Decanted is set to take place 28 at Lott Hall, 6201 Hermann Park, from 2 to 6 p.m. The annual vintner’s reception and live wine auction features a Yacht Rock theme alongside wine tastings and an epic culinary lineup, including every Michelin-starred restaurant in Houston. Tables are on sale now starting at $1,500 for 8.

Backyard Boil Series at Josephine’s Gulf Coast Tradition

Passover Catering at Kenny & Ziggy’s
Kenny & Ziggy’s, 1743 Post Oak, is gearing up for Passover with a full spread of traditional favorites available for pickup or nationwide shipping ahead of the April 1 Seder. Expect everything from matzo ball soup and gefilte fish to macaroons and chopped liver, plus a prix fixe dinner for 10–12 people priced at $475 or à la carte options and Seder plates for $23. Orders must be placed by March 25 for local pickup by April 1, or by March 26 for shipping, with delivery available via Goldbelly.
Tamaulipas Tasting Menu at Caracol
Continuing Caracol’s tasting menu series, chef Hugo Ortega and team explore the flavors of Tamaulipas with a four-course menu offered at dinner Monday–Saturday through April 4. Highlights include jaiba en escabeche, crispy shrimp tacos, carne asada a la Tampiqueña, and a mango mousse dessert.
