Tuna Breakdown at Kira
Kira, 2800 Kirby, hosts its monthly Tuna Breakdown returns with seatings at 6 and 8:30 p.m. The live demonstration showcases the breakdown of a whole bluefin tuna before the fish is served throughout the evening in a variety of preparations. Seats ($130 per person) are available via Resy.

Pitch Live Opening Day
Houston’s newest World Cup destination officially opens at 10 a.m. at Pitch Live, 813 Saint Emanuel. Taking over the former Warehouse Live space, the 35,000-square-foot fan hub will feature giant match-viewing screens, food and drinks, DJs and entertainment just steps from the FIFA Fan Festival. Opening day festivities culminate with a performance from Grammy-winning DJ and producer Diplo. Tickets for the concert start at $175.
Houston Chef Series: “A Night at the Theater” at Grotto Ristorante
Landry’s Signature Group continues its 2026 Houston Chef Series, “A Night at the Theater” – a multi-week dinner series pairing five-course chef-driven menus with classic film themes and cocktail or wine pairings at participating restaurants across Houston. This week features chef Ricky Cruz at Grotto Ristorante, beginning at 7 p.m. and priced at $125 per person.

85th Anniversary Fiesta at Molina’s Cantina
Molina’s Cantina will celebrate its 85th anniversary with three nights of festivities across its Houston-area locations: Bellaire, 3801 Bellaire, on Thursday, June 11; Westheimer, 7901 Westheimer, on Friday, June 12; and Fulshear, 2720 Texas Heritage, on Saturday, June 13. Each event features all-day happy hour, mariachi performances from 6 to 8 p.m., cake and giveaways honoring Houston’s oldest continuously family-owned Tex-Mex restaurant.

Grand Opening at PopUp Bagels
Viral bagel sensation PopUp Bagels opens its first Houston location at 700 Town and Country, with an opening-day celebration from 8 to 11 a.m. Expect hot bagels, rotating schmears, a live DJ and a limited-time spicy queso cream cheese available opening weekend. As an added bonus, 50 percent of opening-day proceeds will benefit the J.J. Watt Foundation.
French Dip Fridays at La Lucha
La Lucha, 1801 North Shepherd, is launching French Dip Fridays beginning June 12, with lunch service now starting at 11 a.m. every Friday. Available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the weekly special features two takes on the sandwich: an East Coast-style french dip with caramelized onions and melted cheese for $29, and a West Coast-style version with shaved beef and jus for $27. Both are served with fries.

Bludorn by the Sea at Hotel Lucine
The third annual Bludorn by the Sea returns to Hotel Lucine, 1002 Seawall, on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, with chef Aaron Bludorn serving two nights of four-course dinners at The Fancy. Reservations are available from 5 to 10 p.m. both nights, with dinner priced at $95 per person and an optional $75 wine pairing. Night one highlights include Chilled Shrimp and Rabbit Pierogies; while night two features things like Ora King Salmon Crudo and Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. A Navy Blue raw bar featuring oysters, aguachile and martinis will run in The Den from 4 to 7 p.m. each day on a walk-in basis. The weekend also includes a free Courtyard Party on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. with live music, a yakitori-style grill-out and food available for purchase.

Nori Nori 2-Year Anniversary at Nori Nori
Nori Nori, 10603 Bellaire, will celebrate its second anniversary from 6 to 11 p.m. at Kim Son Plaza. The event will feature a live bluefin tuna breakdown, sushi and hand roll stations, chef collaborations, cocktails and entertainment. General admission is $200 and VIP admission is $250.

National Bourbon Day at Ouisie’s Table
Ouisie’s Table, 3939 San Felipe, will celebrate National Bourbon Day with a bourbon flight for $20 with the purchase of any entrée. Available all day, the flight includes 1.5-ounce pours of Elijah Craig, Hirsch Horizon and Basil Hayden’s, with additional bourbon options available upon request. The promotion arrives one week ahead of Father’s Day and is available during both lunch and dinner service.

Hurricane Season Volunteer Opportunities at Houston Food Bank
As hurricane season gets underway, the Houston Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help assemble disaster relief boxes stocked with shelf-stable food, water and cleaning supplies for future emergency response efforts. Volunteer shifts are available at the Houston Food Bank, 535 Portwall, Monday through Sunday, with morning, afternoon and select evening opportunities. Individuals, families and groups are welcome, and volunteers can also bring donations of nonperishable food items, particularly pull-tab canned goods, during their shift. Registration is available online through the Houston Food Bank.
