On Sunday, June 28 from 3 to 9 p.m., Chardon, 1711 Allen Parkway, is bringing back Booze Can Sunday, reuniting executive chef EJ Miller with chef Ryan Lachaine for a revival of the Riel Sunday series in celebration of Canadaโ€™s 159th birthday. Guests can expect a menu of Riel-inspired and Canadian dishes including truffle and caviar pierogies, steak au poivre poutine with cheese curds, deli dogs, Montreal smoked meat sliders and maple whiskey soft serve with foie caramel, plus drinks like Canadian Jell-O shots and Molson X. Goode Co. Barbecue, 5109 Kirby, has launched a new bi-weekly feature menu at its Kirby location, available Thursday through Sunday through early fall 2026, with rotating limited-time specials served until sold out. The menu adds new pit-driven items like slow-smoked Dino beef rib, mesquite smoked pork belly and green chile pimento cheese, with additional rotating Texas-inspired dishes and family-style platters introduced every couple of weeks to keep offerings changing throughout the season.

This July, Brennanโ€™s, 3300 Smith, is bringing back its Two Dine for $99 summer menu, available for brunch, lunch or dinner. Duos can enjoy a three-course prix fixe that includes starters like snapping turtle soup or shrimp rรฉmoulade, entrรฉes such as petite filet Oscar, Gulf shrimp and grits or eggs Brennan, and desserts including Mississippi mud pie or bananas Foster.
