Pizaroโ€™s Pizza and Saint Arnold Brewing Company are teaming up for a limited-time pizza collaboration from August 13 through 31. The Zesty Asparagus & Prosciutto pizza features dough made with Saint Arnoldโ€™s biscuit barley malt, fresh lemon, mozzarella, asparagus, lemon cream sauce, feta and prosciutto. The 16-inch pie is $24 at both Pizaroโ€™s locations, while Saint Arnold will offer a 12-inch version for $18 from August 17 through 31.

The 12th annual OkraFest, dubbed โ€œGarden Galactica,โ€ takes over the Historic Galveston Water & Electric Light Community Center, 715 30th, in Galveston, on Saturday, August 15, benefiting Groundswell. The evening features a hyper-local dinner made with ingredients from Galveston-area farmers and makers, plus craft cocktails, beer, live music and a VIP oyster bar with Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster Bar. VIP hour runs from 6 to 7 p.m. with general admission beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $125.

National Rum Day gets a four-day celebration at Ouisieโ€™s Table, 3939 San Felipe, from Sunday, August 16 through Wednesday, August 19. The $75 three-course menu includes Tropical Ceviche with SelvaRey White Rum, Mojo-Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Diplomatico Plana and Flan de Ron paired with SelvaRey Chocolate Dark Rum. The menu is available all day for dine-in only, with dishes and rum pairings also available ร  la carte.

On Tuesday, August 18, wood-fired chicken and beef fajitas take center stage at Sylviaโ€™s Enchilada Kitchen, 6401 Woodway, 1140 Eldridge, when both locations celebrate National Fajita Day with an $18.95 combo plate. The one-person meal comes with grilled onions and green peppers, rice, beans, guacamole, cheddar cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and a choice of house-made flour or corn tortillas. 

Marriott Marquis Houston, 1777 Walker, hosts a five-course Stagโ€™s Leap Wine Cellars dinner at Cueva on Thursday, August 20, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., celebrating the wineryโ€™s role in the 1976 Judgment of Paris. Each course is paired with a Stagโ€™s Leap wine, with a winery brand ambassador sharing details about the wines and the eventโ€™s history. Tickets ($220+) are available through Eventbrite.

Lyric Market, 411 Smith, hosts Cocusocial for a Pasta Making Class on Thursday, August 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests  (21 and up) can learn the art of perfecting pasta dough, then roll, cut, and shape it into pappardelle and fresh linguini using a pasta machine. All ingredients and equipment are provided. Tickets start at $59.

Caviar enthusiasts can hit up Potente, 1515 Texas, during HRW for a limited-time Petite Caviar & Martini Menu featuring featuring a caviar flight, potato chip โ€œnachosโ€ with Imperial Daurenki caviar and crรจme fraรฎche, and drinks like the Gibson Martini or Negroni Bianco. The experience can be enjoyed on its own or alongside the HRW menu or an a la carte dinner.
