Kolache Shoppe is introducing a globally-inspired summer lineup in July, running Thursday through Saturday at the Greenway Shoppe and Friday through Sunday at the Heights, Memorial and Pearland locations. The limited-time menu brings back a Craft Pita collaboration featuring a Lebanese sausage and Akkawi cheese kolache seasoned with za’atar, plus a Blueberries & Cream kolache for peak berry season. A Piña Colada-filled kolache is exclusive to the Pearland shop, while a Banana Bread Oat Milk Latte blends banana, maple, cinnamon and vanilla for a seasonal sip at the Heights and Memorial locations.

The Capital Grille is bringing back its annual Generous Pour wine tasting experience through Sunday, August 30. Guests can sample six Duckhorn Portfolio wines, including a limited-edition Duckhorn Napa Valley Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon and the event’s first sparkling selection, Goldeneye North Coast Brut Rosé, for $38 with the purchase of a dinner entrée. A new multi-course wine dinner pairing all six wines with a chef-crafted menu is also available for $125 per person. 

Ouisie’s Table, 3939 San Felipe, is celebrating Texas peach season throughout July with a lineup of peach-inspired lunch and dinner specials, plus seasonal cocktails. The limited-time menu includes dishes like Grilled Peach Burrata, chilled Peach Soup, Fried Shrimp with Peach Bourbon Glaze, Red Fish with Peach Salsa, Peach-Glazed Chicken, Peach Upside Down Cake and Peach Cobbler, along with drinks such as a Peach Bellini, Peach Old Fashioned and Peach Mojito. The specials are available for dine-in and takeout all month long.

A hands-on pizza making class is on the menu at Pizzana River Oaks, 2029 West Gray, on Wednesday, July 8. The Stretch, Sip & Slice experience walks guests through stretching the restaurant’s dough by hand, building a balanced sauce-to-cheese ratio and customizing their own pie with preferred toppings. Tickets ($75) include two glasses of wine or mocktails, Cesare insalata while the pizza bakes and a take-home pizza plus new skills. Reservations are required.

On Thursday, July 9, Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood, 14315 Cypress Rosehill Road, is hosting a one-night Spanish Wine Dinner, beginning at 7 p.m. The $119 per person, four-course menu features Spanish pincho with Jamón Serrano, Fabada Asturiana, cider-poached shrimp salad, and wood-grilled filet mignon with Riojana potatoes, each paired with wines from regions including Cava, Priorat, Rías Baixas and Rioja. The evening finishes with Basque cheesecake paired with cream sherry. Reservations are required.

Saint Arnold’s Downtown Pub Crawl returns Saturday, July 11 from 2 to 7 p.m., starting with a free punch card pickup from 2 and 3 p.m. Guests can move through stops including Flying Saucer, Angel’s Share, Shay McElroy’s, Little Dipper, Dean’s and Underground Hall before finishing back at Flying Saucer around 6 p.m. to collect a commemorative glass. The free, self-guided crawl requires no ticket or purchase.
