Great news, concert goers! Quattroโ€™s, 1300 Lamar, pre-concert dinner series is continuing this fall. The restaurant will offer valet parking for $6 (you can walk to Toyota Center from the hotel), a two-course dinner with multiple options and a free glass of wine at the Lobby Bar after the concertโ€™s end (just show your concert ticket and dinner receipt). The two-course Quattro Concert Dinner sells for $32 plus tax and gratuity. But guests can also opt for a three course buffet dinner for $39, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.

Get ready for a celebration of bubbles all week long. From Sunday, October 4 though Saturday, October 10, The Tasting Room Uptown Park, 1101 Uptown Park, is hosting Bubbles Week. Effervescent events include a Dom Perignon Dinner on Wednesday; a Le Mini Moet Carnival on Thursday; and a Saturday Sippers bubbles tasting, where youโ€™ll taste four bubbly wines for $16.ย 

Tony Mandolaโ€™s Gulf Coast Kitchen, 1212 Waugh, will be offering half-off gumbo for National Gumbo Day on Monday, October 12. Get a cup of the crawfish-topped, seafood loaded good stuff for $3.50, a bowl for $5, and add a draft of Schooners for another $5.ย 

KUU Restaurant, 947 Gessner will be hosting Revana/Alexana/Corazon Del Sol Wine Dinner with local cardiologist and winery owner Dr. Madaiah Revana on Monday, October 12. Guests can expect an extraordinary night featuring wines from Dr. Revanaโ€™s Napa, Oregon and Argentina vineyards, paired with Executive Chef Adison Lee’s modern Japanese cuisine. Cost is $175 per person, plus tax and tip. Limited seating is available. For reservations, call 713-461-1688.

The Galveston Restaurant Association’s 43rd Epicurean Evening, โ€œA Taste of the Gulfโ€ will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13 at Moody Gardens Convention Center, 7 Hope. Food enthusiasts can sample items from more than 60 participating restaurants and beverage vendors, including Farley Girls Cafe, Rudy & Paco Restaurant, and Olympia Grill. Tickets are $40 at the door or $35 when purchased in advance from participating restaurants, with proceeds benefiting the Francisco โ€œPacoโ€ Vargas Scholarship Fund at Galveston College.
