Rallied by Craft Pita, Houston-area Lebanese-owned restaurants have united to support relief efforts for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, raising funds to benefit the Lebanese Red Cross and provide essential aid to displaced individuals, including clothing, food, and bedding. The participating restaurants โ€” Craft Pita, Maryโ€™z Mediterranean Cuisine, Weโ€™re Dough Bakery, Suzieโ€™s Pastry Shoppe, Flo Paris Baker, Arpiโ€™s Phoenicia Deli and Cedars Bakery โ€” invite guests to add a $4 donation to their meal at the end of checkout, with 100 percent of the funds raised donated directly to the Lebanese Red Cross.

This holiday season, Roka Akor, 2929 Weslayan, is teaming up with the Southern Smoke Foundation to offer a special $100 menu, with $25 from each meal donated to Southern Smokeโ€™s mission to provide a crucial safety net for industry workers. Highlights include Toro Tartare with Ossetra Caviar, Lobster Miso Soup, Robata Grilled Prime Filet with Miso Compound Butter and more.

Buttermilk Baby, 600 North Shepherd, invites folks to a special visit from Santa Claus, whose sleigh is guided by the sparkle of a disco ball and pulled by unicorns, on Wednesday, December 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests can try the new lineup of limited-time holiday treats, including the White Mocha Peppermint Frappe and an Eggnog Boozy Shake, and a hot chocolate stand complete with pink marshmallows.

Hugoโ€™s,1600 Westheimer, will host a Cรณdigo 1530 Tequila Dinner on Wednesday, December 11, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m. and followed by a seated dinner at 6:30. Guests can enjoy premium tequila paired with chef Hugo and Ruben Ortegaโ€™s special four-course menu, with highlights including charred yellowfin tuna with serrano, mint and blood orange; beef barbacoa taquito with refritos and avocado-tomatillo salsa; seared duck leg with sweet potato purรฉe, Brussels sprouts and fig mole; and a bomba de chocolate dessert. Tickets are $130 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Marvinoโ€™s Italian Steakhouse, 24002 Northwest Freeway, invites guests for an evening of exceptional food and fine wine on Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. The evening begins with stuffed portobello mushroom paired with Olema Pinot Noir from Sonoma County 2022, followed by a seafood duo featuring a scallop and shrimp served over risotto and topped with a beurre blanc sauce paired with the Olema Reserve Chardonnay from Sonoma County 2022; filet mignon in rich red wine reduction paired with Amici Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa County 2021; and a pumpkin roulade paired with Olema Brut Crรฉmant de Loire.
