Every year, Houston foodies come together to partake in the cornucopia that is Menu of Menus: one of Houston’s largest fine food and cocktail festivals. Join us for an evening of delicious indulgence.
On May 23 from 7-10 p.m. at Silver Street Studios, the festival will give a new meaning to tasty Tuesday.
This year is the festival’s 21st anniversary, so, naturally, we are going big. The evening soiree will host more than 20 local restaurants, food trucks and businesses for a night of eating, drinking and shopping. With unlimited bites, wine tastings, cocktail samplings and entertainment, this year is serving up a foodie’s dream.
The lineup of unique menu-items is mouth-watering. Though the list is extensive, a few sampling options will include oysters, pasta, tapas and sushi. Some of the local foodie favorites that will be in attendance are EurAsia Fusion Sushi, Indianola, Moon Rabbit and TJ Birria y Mas. This year’s diverse selection of vendors covers, and is certainly not limited to, cuisines like Indian, Moroccan, Thai, Halal, Argentinian, Mexican, Japanese and American.
Aside from the diverse menu of city favorites, there will be plenty of festivities. You will not have to bend over backwards to find entertainment – the champagne glass contortionist and arialist will, though. You do not want to miss these rare experiences, so we made sure to make them center-stage.
The list of incredible performers also includes a DJ who will be spinning tracks all night and two magicians. No, your eyes do not deceive you. Guests can enjoy the Power of Magic and Wonder by a father-son magician duo.
For those who have a taste for the fine arts, attendees can peruse an art breezeway and enjoy the different flavors of creativity both on their plate and in the gallery. Adjacent to the gallery, there will also be a live ice-carving installation. Pretty cool, huh? Alright, I’ll stop with the puns.
If hands-on activities are more your speed, there will be a fully-stocked game zone. Cornhole, giant jenga and life-sized beer pong are just some of the many games that will be available. There will also be a selfie scavenger hunt that can put participants in the running for a gift card from one of the vendors.
