A Slice of Chocolate, Please

The Chocolate Bar

Pizza is the last thing you'd expect to find at The Chocolate Bar (1835 West Alabama, 713-520-8599), a store dedicated to those with a serious chocolate addiction. Yet there in the corner is a pile of preprinted pizza cartons that say "Best Pizza in Town." It's no lie. Handmade from milk or dark chocolate, the 12-inch pizzas ($24) are hard to put down. Toppings include almost everything The Chocolate Bar has available for sale: cashews, pistachios, walnuts, pecans, macadamias, golden raisins, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries, apricots, ginger and maraschino cherries. White chocolate drizzled on the top not only helps to hold everything together but adds a nice color contrast.
