U2Rocks biggest ego gets the biggest screen treatmentBy Dusti RhodesPublished on June 25, 2008 at 1:41amAs if Bono couldnt get any larger than life, the planetarium has decided to supersize his music in the appropriately titled U2. The laser spectacular features the sounds of the Irish rock powerhouse set to lights and animation on the largest screen in the city. Hits like With or Without You, Where the Streets Have No Name and Vertigo all get the dome treatment. Were guessing this means plenty of images of open arms, hearts, doves and other symbols of hope and charity which likely per his request also includes an artists rendering of Bono himself. U2 screens at 3 p.m. daily; 6 p.m. Tuesdays; and 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Fridays. Through September 1. Houston Museum of Natural Science, One Hermann Circle Drive. For tickets and information, call 713-639-4629 or visit www.hmns.org. $4 to $6.
