Subtitles and demon possession, all in one package
The Spanish horror movie [Rec]2 will be shown at the River Oaks Theatre in a midnight screening. Writers and directors Jaume Balaguer and Paco Plaza pick up the action right where the last [Rec] left off, with reporter çngela Vidal (Manuela Velasco) getting dragged away from the camera, screaming. In this installment, the directors employ the helmet cameras of a grupo especial de operaciones (special operations group) as they enter the quarantined building where a virus, believed to cause demon possession, is affecting the residents. The helmet cameras capture this hell on earth to create a realistic-looking horror film.
