The Shaolin Warriors are more than peaceful, nonconfrontational bald guys in robes, as anyone whos seen Bruce Lees Enter the Dragon knows. They can also kick some serious ass. The monks will be demonstrating their highly theatrical, choreographed moves a cross between kung fu, gymnastics and break-dancing in their Houston premiere today. Considered the kung fu masters of China, the Shaolin Warriors are known around the world for performing seemingly impossible feats of contortion, balance, speed and strength. They also display breathtaking synchronized fighting skills incorporating an array of weapons.
