Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen

The third of three locations of one-woman enchilada empress Sylvia Casares, this Texican kitchen worth the drive. The enchiladas, of course, are the star of the show. The classic cheese "Refugio" enchiladas are both fantastic and well-priced. The homemade tortillas, rolled and filled with a blend of cheddar cheeses and topped with Sylvia's signature enchilada chili, are smooth and lack the seemingly requisite pools of grease. Don’t miss the mesquite wood grilled items, including smoked quail and tender carne asada. Another plus? Portions are reasonable, especially for Tex-Mex/Mexican fare.
