Muppets grow up and do the nasty in Robert Lopez and Jeff Marxยs inspired, Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q. The coming-of-age comedy has a cast of puppets (and a handful of humans) who sing and frolic, but they arenยt at all kid-friendly. Theyยve got names like Lucy the Slut and The Bad Idea Bears, and they like to have sex and talk about their sexual identities. The story focuses on Princeton, a kid who just graduated college with a B.A. in English. He moves to New York City and rents a place on the only street he can afford ย Avenue Q. Then he sets about trying to figure out his purpose in this world.
