When Dazed and Confused hit theaters in 1993, no one knew what kind of legs it would have. The coming-of-age high school comedy starred the still-unfamous Ben Affleck and Matthew McConaughey in all their cheeky best. It would eventually become a cult classic (due, in part, to fans wanting to see a young Ben and Matthew).
The film, whose title comes from the Zeppelin tune of the same name, is about a group of high school seniors on their last day of school in 1976. Bell-bottoms and rock music rule, and everyoneยs ready for something ย anything ย to happen. Thereยs plenty of drinking, pot smoking and hazing of incoming freshmen.
