The phrases “off-color comedian,” “sexual progressive” and “God-fearing Christian Republican” wouldn’t usually describe the same person, but busty Sheryl Underwood happily describes herself as all three. The road-warrior comedienne and host of BET’s Comic View stomps on lefty politics and dishes out raunchy sex humor in the same set. An early impetus for Underwood’s comedy career was a failed stint as a lingerie model. “I was so self-conscious about it that I couldn’t do it,” she told BET.com. “To get out of it, I started telling jokes.” We’re sure that the men in the audience shifted their attention accordingly. 8 p.m.
