For a man who’s focused on music from the baroque era, conductor Christophe Rousset has an unusual attitude, claiming to be ”a normal man with no special nostalgia for the past…” Rousset, a famed harpsichordist as well as a highly regarded conductor, joins Mercury (formerly Mercury Baroque) for the concert Bach & Sons. The program includes C.P.E. Bach’s Concerto for Harpsichord in C Minor, with Rousset at the keys, along with J. S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C Major and other works under Rousset’s baton. 8 p.m. Wortham Theater Center, 500 Texas.
