Want to know who is playing the Secret Saturday Show One Year Anniversary? We do, too. But part of the charm of this weekly showcase of local bands is its organizers ability to keep the cat in the bag. (And its also what helped it win Best Concert Series in our Best Of Houston® 2007 issue.) The brains behind Secret Saturdays keep a tight lid on the lineups, which have included a variety of sounds from the Houston scene, with hip-hop from the likes of Perspeh1 and Babel Fishh, rockers such as Paris Falls, Something Fierce and Hearts of Animals and folksters like Elaine Greer and News on the March. (Keep in mind any one of those might make a cameo today.) The whole shebang is hosted at the icehouse-style Shady Tavern, which makes for a perfect friend-chattin, sittin and relaxin, band-seein day. See the secrets revealed from noon to 5 p.m. 1206 West 20th Street. For information, visit www.myspace.com/secret-saturday-shows. Free.
