Rodeo time is upon us, and everyone in Houston is getting into the spirit, even the National Museum of Funeral History. For the next two months, the museum will be presenting its yearly revolving mini-exhibit “The Last Tip of My Hat,” featuring a cowboy/cowgirl classic-style pine coffin like you’ve seen in old Western films. This one features rope handles with a denim-like interior. The coffin comes from a modern company, Cowboy’s Last Ride in Early, Texas, which specialized in handcrafted caskets meant to properly send off our dear departed cowpokes. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. 415 Barren Springs Drive.
