After youre done cleaning up all the wrapping paper, bows, to-and-from tags and little twisty ties that keep action figures and dolls in their packaging, it might be time for a change of scenery. The Woodlands Town Center Ice Rink and Winter Wonderland is a nice escape, plus it offers the kiddos a way to work off all the sugar from those chocolate Santas eaten for breakfast. If your holidays are kid-free, no worries, theres nothing more romantic then skimming across the ice arm-in-arm with your sweetie or having him/her catch you just before you bust your ass.
Those who prefer to have their feet planted on the ground can check out the Winter Wonderland surrounding the rink. Lighted scenes of toy soldiers, Santa and his elves, snowmen and singing angels can be viewed from the safety of a carpeted floor. Plus, if you get bored, you can turn around and catch the aforementioned ass-busters.
The ice rink hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today only. Regular hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 7 p.m. Sundays.
