To say thank you to everyone who has bought a membership, visited the museum, attended a program or enjoyed an afternoon at the battleground, the San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association is hosting a family-friendly Member Appreciation and Community Picnic. Age Range: All, it will be fun for the whole family. Activities: Free train ride tour throughout the battlefield, bouncy house, face Painting, music, games with prizes, showing of Night at the Museum in the amphitheater; begins at 6 p.m.; bring lawn chairs.
