All good things must come to an end, even Mardi Gras. When the lighted Krewe of Aquarius 16th Fat Tuesday Parade rolls down the streets of Galveston's Strand Distinct, the 2011 Mardi Gras celebration will be officially over. It's the last chance to party, so do it up big. Look for the Thalasar, Bacchus, Babalu, ZKrewe, DuLac and Gambrinus Krewes. They’ll be throwing out the last of the beads and trinkets of the 2011 Mardi Gras season. 6:30 p.m. The Strand, Galveston Island.
