Public Services Wine & Whisky

David Rozycki
Located in downtown's historic Cotton Exchange building that dates back to 1884, Public Services Wine & Whisky [sic] does indeed serve up an impressive collection of whiskey and wines, as the name implies, as well as sherry, scotch, brandy, beer, cider and craft cocktails. The whiskeys (and whiskys) are normally served by themselves, but Public Services will mix them with any soda for an extra dollar. In case you were wondering, generally only American and Irish whiskeys are spelled with the letter e at the end; bar snacks here include warm homemade bologna, sweet pickles, and toasted nuts and seeds.
