By checking out the band’s MySpace profile, we can see that apparently the name-change thing is going to happen after all. The Dimes are now listed as “The Band Formerly Known as the Dimes” – when you change your profile name, you know it’s serious.
My challenge to take a bunch of trucker speed and drive to Portland to take back the moniker from the other Dimes still stands, though I may just end up taking trucker speed and posting expletive-laden comments on all the Oregon band’s YouTube videos. Nothing makes me feel more like a man than posting anonymous diatribes against strangers. Hey-o! – Craig Hlavaty
