Houston police are investigating the death of an unidentified two-month-old baby girl who died about 2 p.m. Thursday.
The infant was transported by ambulance from her home at 11911 Martin Luther King Boulevard to Texas Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to investigators:
The infant was found unresponsive by family members at the above address. HFD emergency personnel responded and transported the baby to the hospital. There were no signs of trauma to the baby and family members were questioned at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time
The investigation is pending the baby’s cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
