| Couple murdered miles apart from each other |
A man was shot at a southwest side apartment while his girlfriend was shot killed in her Missouri City home, Houston police said.
Yancey Daniels, 30, of Missouri City, was shot several times in the torso about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 6300 block of West Airport, HPD says. The body was discovered by a woman leaving her apartment about 10 a.m.
Missouri City PD are handing the investigation into his girlfriend’s death.
