Houston is Home to 70,000 refugees from 78 different countries! Houston’s diversity, booming economy, and culture are in part a result of refugees who have brought new flavors and zest from their home countries.
We will celebrate refugees’ unrelenting perseverance and positivity on World Refugee Day, Saturday June 21, 2014 at the Raindrop Foundation Turkish House from 3:00-7:00pm. The day will be filled with cultural entertainment, children’s activities, and educational exhibits. FREE EVENT!
