From the husband-and-wife duo behind Oporto Food House & Wine, this M-K-T hangout puts a local riff on the cuisine of India, including former Portuguese-Indian territory of Goa and Gujarat. The space itself is a looker, making it a choice spot for date nights, happy hours, patio lunches and nights on the town; but it’s the goods coming out of the kitchen that truly make this place special. Drag spicy garlic butter naan through fiery pork vindaloo and coconut chicken curry; work your way through chutneys, samosas, ghee-bathed rice and saag paneer; share canteen curry and wine soaked mussels, Goan sausage pizzas and masala style whole grilled branzino; and finish with sticky date cake and cardamom sponge cake, soaked in milk and finished with pistachio crumble.
