The Houston Whiskey Riot invites enthusiasts to Post Houston for an early evening of fine sips from 4 to 7 p.m. (3 p.m. for VIP). Folks can sample 200+ varieties of whiskey from local and international brands, enjoy seminars and rare tastes, and hang out with fellow whiskey lovers, distillers, and brand founders. Tickets start at $75.
Beats & Brews by MAVEN at Thompson

MAVEN at Thompson is bringing back its Beats & Brews series for a special Astros-themed edition this Sunday, rocking laiback DJ sets in a cozy coffee shop atmosphere with coffee, cockailts and indulgent bites. In honor Astros Opening Weekend, guests can also expect fun activations such as merchandise from Sam & Davy, temporary tattoos, permanent jewelry and soft and salted cookies. The event is free to attend.

Mutiny Wine Room brings the flavors of Spain to Houston with its next Paella Sunday, a live-fire culinary experience featuring chef Eduardo Alcayaga’s signature paella cooked fresh on the patio. Guests can sip wine and enjoy appetizers before indulging in the flavorful dish, with seatings available at 1, 4 and 6:30 p.m. Cost is $38 per person, with optional wine pairings starting at $15 by the glass.
Fire & Ice Omakase at Hidden Omakase

Hidden Omakase and Montrose record bar and kitchen 93’ Til are collabing on a a one-night-only Fire & Ice Omakase experience, with seatings at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Each meticulously prepared course will celebrate a harmony of contrasts, showcasing the interplay of cooked and raw, heat and chill,and intensity and delicacy. Reservations at the intimate 18-person chef’s counter are $300 per guest.
