Chef Evelyn Garcia and Chef Henry Lu, Top Chef contestants and co-owners of JลชN, 420 East 20th, are hosting a special four-course dining event in collaboration with Top Chef Season 22 alum Paula Endara on Wednesday, July 9. Cost is $110 with an optional $55 wine pairing.

Brasserie 19, 1962 West Gray, invites guests to its annual Red, White & Brut Bastille Day Bash on Saturday, July 12 from noon to 3 p.m. In partnership with Veuve Clicquot and Moรซt Hennessy, the event promises a lively afternoon filled with Champagne, rosรฉ, specialty cocktails, and French-inspired bitesโ€” think pours of Veuve Clicquot, Rock Angel and Dom Perignonโ€”plus large-format bottles, festive food specials, raffles, swag, photo ops and a French discothรจque-inspired soundtrack.

Celebrate 713 Day on Sunday, July 13 at Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar, with chef Gaby Jimenezโ€™s Wagyu Beef Hot Dog paired with fires and Equal Parts Loggerbier draft โ€” for just $7.13 all day and night.

713 Day Cookout is back Sunday, July 13, and this year, Rafael Nasr is teaming up with James Beard Award winner Thomas Bille (Belly of the Beast) and Milk & Sugar for a one-day-only mashup. Hit the West U location at 5172 Buffalo Speedway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lamb neck tacos, kibbeh tostadas, olive oil cake ice cream and a chance to win tickets to this year’s Southern Smoke Festival.

On Monday, July 14, Etoile Cuisine et Bar, 1101-11 Uptown Park, will celebrate Bastille Day with a special four-course prix-fixe dinner from chef Philippe Verpiand. Highlights include jumbo shrimp with charred cantaloupe, seared red snapper with fennel fondue in bouillabaisse jus, veal filet medallions with morel mushroom sauce and crispy potato cake and a chilled strawberry syrup with red berries, vanilla lime mascarpone mousse and sangria granite. The menu is priced at $78 per person, with optional wine pairings for $38.

In honor of Nelson Mandela Day on Friday, July 18, Nandoโ€™s PERi-PERi is hosting a Pantry Raid Food Drive from 3 to 6 p.m., offering guests a free quarter chicken and PERi Chips in exchange for a non-perishable food donation. In Houston, donations will benefit Second Servings.

On Sunday, July 20, Four Seasons Hotel Houston speakeasy Bandista, 1300 Lamar, will host an exclusive one-night pop-up featuring Singaporeโ€™s renowned Jigger & Pony and its sister bar Cosmo Pony from Jakarta. The pop-up runs from 7 p.m. to midnight, showcasing signature cocktails from both award-winning bars, including Jigger & Ponyโ€™s Spicy Margarita and Espresso Martini, as well as Cosmo Ponyโ€™s Nastar Milk Punch and Tequila Vesper. Cocktails are priced between $30 and $40. Reservations are required for 60-minute seatings, and proceeds will benefit Camp H-Town.
