All five of The Union Kitchenโs Houston-area locations will celebrate Taylor Swift with a bejeweled brunch on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, coinciding with the popstarโs 35th birthday. Swifties will be able to dig into creations like the Sparks Fly Pancakes with Fruity Pebbles, Pop Rocks and whipped cream; Brie Are Never Getting Back Together French toast with blackberry compote; and a Picture to Burn Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, plus drink specials including a Fearless Mimosa Flight and Champagne Problems, Lavender Haze and spiked cold brew White Horse cocktails.
Expect Swiftie-friendly swag, giveaways, bracelet-making stations, music from Swiftโs entire catalog and a few special surprises at each location. Brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is fit for Swifties of all ages. Reservations recommended.
Etoile Cuisine et Bar, 1101-11 Uptown Park, celebrates National Bouillabaisse Day every December 14, with Chef Philippe Verpiand serving his own special bouillabaisse as an off-menu special for both lunch and dinner. Head here to enjoy a Saturday of delicious bouillabaisse, featuring shrimp, fresh-caught snapper, sea bass and mussels accompanied by an aioli crostini, available at lunch for $32 and at dinner for $44.
On Saturday, December 14 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., Santaโs making a pit stop at Brasserie 19, 1962 West Gray, for a Santa Brunch de Funk. Slip into your finest holiday pajamas or ugliest sweater and enjoy melted raclette and festive cheer from Licor 43 while DJ FX Box Olmos spins holiday tunes.
URBE, 1101 Uptown Park, will be hosting Santa Claus and families for some tacos, tamales and holiday cheer on Wednesday, December 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. Photos with Santa are encouraged and the restaurant will be serving its a la carte dinner menu and offering a special two-course kidsโ meal for $15 per child on Wednesday; and brunch buffet on Sunday for $39 per adult & $15 per child.
Juliet, 5857 Westheimer, is hosting Brunch with Santa on Sunday, December 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For $49.95 per adult, $29.95 for kids under 12, and free for children 5 and under, the deluxe buffet features all the holiday breakfast favorites including a Build Your Own Omelet Station, French Toast and Waffles, Carving Stations, Mac & Cheese, Hot Chicken Biscuits and Chicken Tenders, Cinnamon Rolls, Croissants and Fruit and more.
Feges BBQ Spring Branch, 8217 Long Point, will host its fourth annual A Very Feges Christmas on Saturday, December 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Snap photos with Santa from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a special reading of The Night Before Christmas by Santa himself; and enjoy holiday drinks and menu specials for the whole family to enjoy while Elf plays on the big screens.
