Chef Ronnie Killen and co. are saying goodbye to their Killenโ€™s Heights location after five years serving the community, with a final service on Sunday, July 19. Guests can enjoy the Farewell Menu, with original favorites including chicken-fried steak, 24-hour fried chicken, pork chops, oxtails and the Cafeteria Burger alongside barbecue by the pound and classic Southern sides. 

Frida Fest at Karbach Brewing 

Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 2 to 9 p.m.

Karbach Brewing celebrates Houston’s local art and music scene with Frida Fest, a two-day party featuring an art show, live music and an outdoor market. Friday kicks off with an opening reception, complimentary light bites and a live DJ, while Saturday brings local vendors, mariachi, more live music, DJ sets and limited-edition Frida glassware. Admission is free.

Philly Guys Cheesesteaks Pop-Up at Tenfold Coffee

Hot new pop-up Philly Guys Cheesesteaks is bringing the goods to Tenfold Coffee, serving halal Philly cheesesteaks stacked with hand-cut ribeye, melty cheese, and fixinโ€™s on seeded rolls. Choose from options like onions and greep peppers, jalapeรฑos and red habanero, and Cooper sharp and white American cheeses.

The North Houston Margarita Festival at Hyatt Place The Woodlands

Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.
