Before we go any further, let’s get one thing straight: Dot Coffee Shop and House of Pies are not underrated in any universe. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but we’re pretty sure those two spots consistently get the credit they deserve for being excellent greasy spoon eateries.

We didn’t get as many comments on this query as we did on the previous query related to Tex-Mex restaurants (though we didn’t really expect to), but there was much more consensus among these suggestions than usual. Aside from minimal griping about what is/is not underrated, y’all stayed pretty civil in the comments section. We were truly touched.
