The truffle Kobe burger ($15) at Table Seven Restaurant (700 Durham, 713-426-1171) is a decadent dish if there ever was one. It’s incredibly moist, because Kobe has more marbling than other types of beef, and it’s served on a sourdough bun smeared with homemade aioli. Black truffle oil and tiny pieces of grated black truffle in the aioli give the burger an intense flavor that permeates every bite. The patty is topped with caramelized onions, which add a hint of sweetness, and oozing mozzarella.
